Lynx Heli Innovations has redesigned the standard 300X plastic tail case, using aluminum alloy.
Helicopter upgrades can be a trap – often they look nice but do little for function. Weight is of course critical. In particular, helicopter tail components are important were small weight differences can make a huge difference to final flight performance.
We spent hours optimizing the design to achieve the required strength with a final weight beyond compromise. We are pilots, and we expect top performance from our upgrades.
Our tail case housing is made by one single piece of aluminum assuring the best geometrical tolerance and increase crash resistance. Belt and tail shaft service become really easy thanks the bearing support cup that is installed into the main housing.
We have improved the standard plastic part strength and geometrical tolerances impossible using mould plastic.
Lynx 300X tail case have special pulley to guide and pre-tension the belt just before the tail pulley to assure the best belt tooth engagement without the need to over tension the belt.
For the easy installation the 300X tail case is preassembled in factory and ready to use.
Lynx Tail have built-in tail boom lock pin that fit into tail boom. Pin is integrated in the vertical fin that is sold in combo.
Tail case can also work without the lock pin and with any 300X vertical fin you like.
